At Reveeld, we don't think certifying a profile is a sure way to guarantee that the certified person will never violate our community rules.
We have thus developed our own profile verification method. During your registration, we ask you to take a selfie that is analyzed by our most advanced AI system and our internal team. This process allows us to ensure that you are a real human and that the created profile is really yours by comparing it to your next photos.
This also allows us to act quickly in case of harm to our community and take necessary decisions, from lifetime ban from our services, to legal proceedings if necessary. At the dawn where the LGBTQ+ community faces unprecedented attacks, Reveeld will never compromise on the security of its users; every violation of our community rules will be treated accordingly.
We think you shouldn't offer all your information to everyone. As in everyday life, we must share the information that is dear to us only with people we trust.
Our evolving profiles allow you to split your information into three steps, and only share them by matching with someone or revealing them voluntarily through your Reveal profile space.
1. Public Profile: this first level contains the minimal information necessary to use the application, such as your first name or nickname and a profile photo. It allows you to navigate and discover other users while preserving a certain level of anonymity, without deceiving the other user.
2. Match Profile: at this stage, you have added much more additional details, such as your green/red flags and new photos. This information will only be visible to users with whom you have matched.
3. Reveal Profile: this level includes a level of intimate information. This profile is only accessible to people with whom you have matched or to whom you have decided to reveal this information voluntarily. This profile is locked by default and no one has access to it without your consent.
These three steps give you total control over your privacy, allowing you to decide when and with whom to share your personal information. Thus, you can build trusting relationships at your own pace and safely.
